Provel design and manufacture a wide range of vessels, mixers and components for the cosmetics industry. With its strong experience across many areas of manufacture, the company is able to provide innovative, cost-effective solutions, be it for hair-care, skin-care or aerosol based products.

The example below is an Oil heated vessel, jacketed and insulated fully encapsulated within a stainless steel skin. The mixers and oil heating are electronically controlled.

Cosmetic Vessel

This is a bespoke project for a spray deodorant plant. For this cosmetic mixer and vessel we designed and manufactured the mixer, vessel, pipework and automated control panel. We delivered this to our customer and assembled it on their premises within an hour.

Concept Design and Development

As well as producing a standard range of mixing vessels, we have vast experience of designing and manufacturing bespoke equipment to meet customers' particular needs. All of our process vessels are made from stainless steel including hastelloy. These materials ensure that the vessel is long lasting and reliable and require highly skilled welding, grinding and polishing techniques.

With over 20 years experience in the industry we have been designing and fabricating process vessels including:

Pressure Vessel

  • We produce a standard range of vessels but also design and build to customer specifications

Pressure Vessels

All of our pressure vessels are designed and manufactured to meet the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). Our pressure vessels are designed to work with gases or liquids and we can carry out our own pressure testing or use a 3rd party inspector to ensure that the vessel meets your requirements.

Insulated / Jacketed Vessels

Jacketed vessels are designed to regulate the temperature of their contents. The jackets can be heated through water, steam or be electrically heated. We can supply oil or water heating units with water up to 90ºc and oil up to 150ºc. The insulation jacket is made from stainless steel and is filled with perlite which has excellent insulating properties.

As specialists in stainless steel mixer and agitator production we work with the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical industries to produce high quality products designed to last.

In-house Stainless Steel polishing

We have a vast experience in the technique of polishing and we polish all of our work in house and offer that as a standard service.

All fabrications are polished to customer requirements including mirror finishing. We issue a certificate with the completed work which declares the surface finish to ensure that the finish has met our customer's requirements. The benefits of our polishing service include:

  • High quality surface finish
  • Helps products self drain
  • Aiding ergonomics and aesthetics
  • Improves the cleanability of the product

Our stainless steel polishing services include:

  • Satin to mirror polishing - Ra values 0.8µm - <0.1µm
  • We have an in house dedicated stainless steel polishing unit
  • Surface finish certificate supplied
  • Batch work and one-offs

All of our polishing is done at our site in our dedicated polishing unit.
